Vintage 1St Gen. Corning Ware (P-16-8) with Lid!
-Vintage Dish, in great condition, comes with lid, no cracks and etc.
This is a vintage, 1950s Corning Ware 11 Casserole dish, extremely rare and in excellent condition!
Newer, post 1960s dishes have the stamp, 'For Range & Microwave'. But since this generation of dishes were made before Microwaves were invented, they do not have that stamp.
This was also made before they copyrighted the term Corning Ware, so only the word Corning was copyrighted as you can see in the pic, since that was the name of the city in which they were made in New York.
