We are guessing this is from Austria since it is similar to others in our collection. No makers mark on back. This pretty and rare Tea Cup w/round body and matching saucer is hand painted in lovely pink flowers, green leaves with a blue and white design. Iridescent finish on inside of cup. Gold gilding rim on cup and saucer.
No chips no cracks. All floral colors and design colors are in very good antique condition. The gold gilded handle completes the cup's elegant charm.
We recommend gently cleaning with a soft cloth.
This is a family heirloom passed down from my Danish Great Grandmother, who came to America in the late 1800's and settled in San Francisco. Its age is believed to be from the early to mid 1900's. We have adored this romantic teacup & saucer in our china cabinet for many years.
