These beautiful teacups were made in occupied Japan (1945-1952). They were manufactured by NIKKO Double Phoenix. The multicolored teacups have patterns in cobalt blue, rust, black, green, and gold. The inside of each cup has a floral spray. The handles have gold centers; the cup rims are gold, and the bases are encircled by gold trim. There are no chips or cracks, and there is no crazing. There is some gold loss, mostly on the handles. There is some grime on the handles and on the bottom surfaces. Each cup is 2-5/8” high, 3-1/2” across the opening, and 1-3/4” across the base.
