“The New Sporting Magazine” for the year 1849. Published at the Royal Office, London: 1849. Fine steel engraved title page, with dozens of full-page steel plate engravings of fishing and hunting scenes throughout.
Finely bound in 3/4 leather over blue marbled boards. Fine gilt tooling separates the spine into five sections, with the title and volume/year information stamped in gilt over red leather inserts in sections two and five. Gilt-tooled decorations throughout the remaining sections.
