This is a rare and charming set of 6 Comicaps circa 1935 featuring characters from the The Katzenjammer Kids” comic strip drawn by artist Rudolph Dirk. These bottle caps are from a series used on Goldenrod Beer produced by the Hittleman-Goldenrod Brewery in Brookyn, New York.
Each cap measures approximately 1-3/16 (31mm) in diameter, with a cork lined backing. The cap skirt is printed with the words GOLDENROD BEER COMICAPS ©1935 TASTES BETTER
