Plaster Art Print Gould Bird, Chalk Ware Wall Plaque
A vintage reproduction J. Gould bird print made up of 100% plaster aka chalk-ware.

Frame and bird print is cast as one piece.

Below the J. Gould mark there is an SZL in a circle, the mark represents Sidney Z. Lucas an importer and wholesale distributor of art prints located in NYC circa 1928. Actual maker of the plaster Gould art piece is unknown to me.

In excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Paint is good.
Made to resemble aged paper the birds are against a yellowish-golden-ochre background.

Dimensions: 13 1/4 tall by 10 3/4 wide. About 5/8 thick.

World Art sticker on the back.

Dimensions: 10.5 tall (not including ring for hanging) by 8.0 wide.
It would look beautiful in a library, hallway, living area, study, or gallery wall!
