Original item: These helmets are 100% authentic WWII M40 style steel combat helmets used in Finland after WWII.

Styles and colors (field grey, field green) will vary slightly, so check out the photos for multiple examples. Each helmet is in excellent condition but will show storage wear, minor paint chips and scratches, and occasional dents, but none have major dents or blemishes. After all, these are real military helmets that real soldiers use when defending their country.

The leather lining and chin strap are made in Finland for the Finnish army, which they call the M55 helmet; styles vary, as some helmets were not used until the early 1970s.

Sizes - We offer a range of sizes, but we sell these helmets by liner size, not shell size. However, the general rule of thumb is; a 55/56cm liner is generally a size 62 case, a 57/58cm liner is generally a 64/66 case,
