This is a vintage AC gas locking cap, part number GT 55 6410235. It is new old stock but does show signs of age or wear from being stored in a non-climate controlled environment for many decades. The box shows discoloration, fading, or tears. The gas cap may need a new gasket but appears to be in good shape under the original blue seal on the top thought the back side does show light surface corrosion and scratches to metal. This gas cap can still be used with cleaning and updating but would mainly make a great decorative memorabilia collectible piece for a man cave, shop, garage or home.
