This set is the fifth and final in the Marvel Universe Series and features some of the best artwork and designs in the series and more of the 2099 characters. The first 9 cards are Freeze Freeze portraits by artist Pat Olliffe of a few favorites from the animated series including Spider-Man, Venom, Punisher, Wolverine, Gambit, Silver Surfer, Rogue, Iron Man, and Ghost Rider. The next 81 cards are grouped into nine 9-card panel scenes highlighting comic book crossovers of the previous year such as Fatal Attractions, Maximum Carnage, Blood Ties, Siege of Darkness, Suicide Run, Blood and Thunder, Fall from Grace, Crash and Burn, and The Fall of the Hammer with a summary of the storyline plots on the reverse side. The remaining cards in the set focus on the individual Super Heroes and Super-Villains.
