A collection of some 800 letters that Wallace Stevens wrote over a period of sixty years, (from 1895 to his death in 1955), this book is a major event in modern American literature. Scrupulously edited and annotated by his daughter - who has filled in small gaps in the correspondence with letters to Stevens from his father and with extracts from Steven's unpublished journal - the volume supplies a full and revealing autobiographical portrait.
This book is in good, used condition. The dust jacket is included, but it is not in as good a condition as the book. There are some wrinkles and slight discoloration on pages 434 to 437, which I've shown in the photos. Please see photos to assess condition.
