There are so many beautiful design elements to the Van Dell piece. It features a lovely gold filled etched poodle design that is highlighted with an orange tinged enameling. Eyes, nose, paws and tail have black embellishments. The entire border of the brooch is etched with a v shaped design. On the back are etched the words Girls Intramurals 71-72. This pin is approximately 1 1/16 round. The other pin is a 1950's or 1960's Unsigned gold-tone Poodle leashed to a Lamp Post with faux pearls, red enameled bow and ribbon around tail with black enameling to the post. This pin has raised gold tone metal (bumps) to resemble the fur of the poodle. It is approx. 2 1/8 tall x approx. 1 1/2 wide from the outer part of the chain to tip of tail. So sweet. Both pins are in very good vintage condition and the pin backs function, but the Van Dell pin back is a bit stiff. The outer point of the pin on the gold tone one has discoloration. Pls be advised I don't accept returns.
