The FILSON Wool Bomber is a replica of the wool jackets issued by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The original CCC jackets were based off of Army Air Corps flight jackets, but made with wool rather than leather for use in rainy and snowy woodlands. These “CCC Lumber Jackets” were warm, durable bomber-style jackets with button-close fronts. Our special-edition jacket features a unique wool blend for the rib-knit collar, hem, and cuffs.
