This Gwent Mat is printed on a thick and sturdy vinyl sheet, with a *glossy* finish (this doesn't show well in the images). The playing surface (24 x 24 ) is sized for Bridge cards only (Poker and Tarot size will NOT fit properly). These vinyl mats are wonderful to play on and won't scratch up your table like smaller wooden boards or bunch up like lightweight fabric prints. The scrim texture on the backside helps keep the mat from sliding on a table. The surface is pretty slick, so your cards may slide if you toss them at the board. :)

The playing surface is very durable and may be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp towel. Always roll the mat, (I recommend art side out so that it will uncurl flat against the table when you play) rough handling or folding/creasing will damage the mat. When you're done with your game just roll it back up and store it in the shipping tube.
