Written in 1996, Tales & Fables was a limited literary production. Of the 150 copies ever published, this is number 129. Written, illustrated, and bound by Vincent Torre. This copy was given to a friend and local library by Torre and it’s never been read. It’s in mint condition. Signed and numbered by the author.
Limited to 150 numbered copies, signed by the author/illustrator on colophon. Table of contents. Woodcut illustrations printed from the blocks. Hand bound. Torre began his publishing career while station on the U.S.S. Orion during World War II. After the war, he printed over 60 titles in 50 years. This volume was one of the authors biggest projects, part of a collection of his own fables and poems.
