64 mm. Obv: Bust of AT&T President Theodore Newton Vail half left, his name above and vital dates, in Roman numerals, to left and right. Rev: Classical female figure seated between two nude men, standing, all holding winged cable. Inscriptions THE VAIL MEDAL FOR NOTEWORTHY PUBLIC SERVICE around, and AWARDED TO / Carrie Marie Hurd as on panel below in exergue. Edge: 532 - 1925, indicating that this was the 532nd bronze Vail medal to be presented and it was awarded in 1925. Housed in its original wood, and velour hinged presentation case, which is exceptionally well preserved. (Total: 1 medal; 1 case)
