**The birth of the Octa® x Wool ROAR series**

STATIC has focused on this unique yarn technology, combining hollow Octa® yarn with wool and sanding the wool to create a unique yarn called AYUKAN that combines the lightness of Octa® yarn with the warmth and loft of wool.

This yarn is then used to create a whole garment knit using a whole garment knitting method. In whole garment knitting, the yarn is knitted directly into a garment. Typically, T-shirts and fleece have a 20-30% loss of fabric during cutting, resulting in cutting waste (*). However, in whole garment knitting, only about 6g of yarn waste is produced when knitting a whole garment, which is an eco-friendly manufacturing method with a loss rate of less than 5%.
