A mesmerizing gemmy terminated Smokey Quartz point with a Phantom encrusted with beautiful gemmy bright Orange Spessartine Garnets from Tongbei, Fujian, China. The Garnets are both included within and growing on the Smokey Quartz. Beautiful specimen with superb color saturation and great luster. The Garnets have superb color saturation with sharp form and a sparkling luster. The Quartz has an interesting rider of another Smokey Quartz crystal that is penetrating the side of the main crystal. It appears to have broken off and rehealed over time. A good example of this classic combination.
