This exhibit is an exact copy in size and appearance of a real Megaladon tooth of the genus Carcharocles.
The tooth is cast from plaster into a mold, made from a real Megaladon tooth. After the mold has been cast, it takes a lot of time to refine it and paint it with oxide paints. This is the most difficult piece of jewelry. In the end, not everyone can distinguish an exhibit from the original.
Product size is 5 inches.
The real tooth from which the copy was made was discovered in Cuba.
The age of the find was estimated at 3-19 mil years.
