This listing is for a lot of eight skeins of white virgin wool blend yarn. The brand is Spinnerin (Ascot). The yarn is labeled as made of predominantly virgin wool 72%, 20% mohair and 8% rhovyl/vynion, made in the Switzerland. Each skein contains 50g., which would bring the total weight to 400 grams. By looking at the graphics of the packaging, my guess is that this yarn was manufactured/sold in the 1960s or 70s. The yarn looks like it has been stored in appropriate conditions (no strange odors). One skein does show slight staining which looks like water-baser paint (acrylic or tempera, perhaps?). The staining is only on the outside of the skein.
