This vintage SETH THOMAS Sharon-9W mantle clock is a beautiful and functional piece of mid-20th century decor. With a striking steeple design and warm brown wooden frame, this 8 day striking clock is sure to catch the eye. It features a key and pendulum character, which move gracefully as the clock keeps time.
It stands about 15 inches tall and 9 inches wide. The Sharon was made in several variations including an electric model. This example uses a German time and strike movement. Some Sharons had American made Seth Thomas movements. It strikes the hour on a single slanted brass tone rod.
Previously enjoyed and in wonderful condition. With depicted minor scuffing as expected with age this will or can clean up nicely. These types of clocks after shipping should always be serviced by a technician for tuning! This guy appears to include its original pendulum and turning key.
