These 4 Franciscan tumblers are in near perfect condition without any scrapes, chips, or scratches. These items may show signs of mild wear from careful washing and eating but no questionable damage. On the bottoms of the tumblers you'll notice small markings. These are referred to as the decorator’s number and this was changed to a smaller stamp to be used in addition to the Franciscan mark rather than being part of the mark. This can be found anywhere on the bottom surface and sometimes is the only mark on a small item. The ink was either brown or black. In this example, the decorator’s number is 37 on the one that's visible.
