In 1984, JIMMY’Z was founded when surfer and artist Jimmy Ganzer sold handmade shorts to surfers from his station wagon on Malibu Beach in Southern California. This collaboration was made possible by the overlap in brand backgrounds, as both Jim's wagon sales and SAPEur's traveling sales across Japan share a similar concept.

The items created by Jim are represented by the 50’s Ford Woody wagon, iconic to surf culture, and were extremely popular among street skaters of the time. In addition to the classic Woody logo, they have garnered support from surfers, skaters, and fashionistas who favor street style.

Based on the uniquely designed shorts that Jim created, which can be put on and taken off with a single action, these feature SAPEur's custom leopard print textile and a playful long strap that looks as if it is hanging like a belt. This is a completely original design.
