C.P. Walker signed Shakespeare theater company typed letter announcing the next season's touring production. Written c) 1910 from his office in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
No date on letter, but attached photo of newsclipping shows the tour announced in letter taking place in 1910.
Letter is in like-new condition, found it tucked inside an 1890's volume of Shakespeare, hasn't seen the light of day for more than 100 years. Pretty cool!

In the 1890s, Walker became manager of the Fargo Opera House, and acquired theatres in Grafton and Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Crookston and Fergus Falls, Minnesota. In 1897 he leased the former Bijou Theatre at Notre Dame and Adelaide in Winnipeg, Manitoba, remodelled it, renamed it the Winnipeg Theatre, and moved to Winnipeg to manage it.
