This listing is for a vintage 72 1/2 x87 patriotic red white & blue star quilt in good to vintage condition.  The diamonds put together are red white and blue in the piecing.  The backing of the quilt block is white.  It is hand pieced and hand quilted.  When the blocks were pieced some of the centers show some of the white stitching on the outside.  There was 2 different red fabrics used in the quilt.  One of the pieces used in the quilt faded more than the other one.  It is backed in white.  It is bordered with about 2 1/2 red and blue borders and bound in red.  One of the stars the red has split on one of the diamonds.  There is about 3 to 4 pieces on that one block.  Only see it on one block.  If you are going to repair it the red pieces on about half of one of the stars the red pieces will need to be replaced and put back together and requilted.  There maybe a couple more places where it needs to be restitched or, the quilt can be used as a cutter.  The quilting is approximative
