Renyu-L is a sustainable material made from recycled clothing that would have been discarded. It is made in Japan (Oshu) through a process that involves sorting by color, re-spinning, spinning, weaving, and finishing. Each step, including the manual selection and removal of accessories before re-spinning, is done with meticulous care, making this material more labor-intensive and imbued with greater thoughtfulness than conventional materials. By blending cashmere into Renyu-L, we have created a yarn that is both supple and luxurious, with a beautiful sheen and added stretch. This makes it a truly special wool material that prioritizes both comfort and quality.
