This is a replica of the portrait hanging in the “Ripley’s Belive It or Not Museum of Oddities.” They have taken scriptures from the New Testament and put together to form this portrait which is called a calligram. Hard to find, Museum Quality Portrait, Frame was added.
A calligram is a set of words arranged in such a way that it forms a thematically related image. It can be a poem, a phrase, a portion of scripture, or a single word; the visual arrangement forms a portrait, picture or image.
Condition: Great Vintage Condition. There is an inscription on the back dated 1989. The frame is very old maybe even antique. There are a few scratches in the frame but not noticeable at all.
