RD-06 made its first appearance in AcceleRacers driven by RD-S1 of the Racing Drones. The car is powered by a 502 HP, C-43 J turbine engine with jet-assisted launch capabilities. The chassis is made of a carbon fiber monocoque, and the car has 20 front wheels and 22 rear wheels.

Earlier prototype versions of the RD-06 exist; these notably lack the front wings found on the production RD-06, and very interestingly, use the Hot Hubs wheel. Images of the earlier version of the RD-06 can be found on the rear of the packaging of various AcceleRacers merchandise, as well as a printed cardboard cut-out of it being found in the Dragster Hyperpod.

Apparently if you get this car cold it changes color to black, but I have not tested this. Red Chrome rims!
