Kate studied painting with Alejandro Obregón at Escuela de Bellas Artes in Barranquilla, Colombia & drawing w the English Artist Freda Sargent. Kate attended Accademia de Belle Arti, Florence, Italy & Academia de San Fernando, Madrid In 80's/90's she studied under artists in Princeton, Lincoln MA & at Glencoe Studios in NC until its closure & continues her lifelong painting activity at NC home studio. Kate was Art Instructor at Escuela de Bellas Artes, Barranquilla, an Interior Design/Art Instructor at Continuing Ed programs in Princeton & Painting & Art teacher in her studio in Princeton(1995-2010) Solo exhibits in Colombian Galleries & Plainsboro Library, Group exhibit at Friendly Center & Glencoe Studios in NC. Her work's in private collections & Chapel Hill Friendly Center
