This is a cute Fenton Blue Hobnail bowl, made roughly 1941-44. It was likely originally intended to be Blue Opalescent, but the supply of bone ash dried up as WW2 approached and Fenton found itself unable to make opalescent glass; some was produced without opalescence in colors that would, originally, have been opalescent. The lack of opalescence actually gives the color a different and lighter feel, though; it’s very pretty.
Measures about 10 inches wide at its widest.
The bowl is in good, factory condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
Carefully packed and promptly shipped.
