Compared to when The Criterion Channel had these movies on their streaming service a few months ago, the discs presented here have a warmer glow with more radiant sunlight in the outdoor scenes. This seems like a more accurate color temperature of what you would see under the summer sun in southern France.
An early gem with Emmanuelle Béart. (She also starred in the first Mission: Impossible movie with Tom Cruise).
