Swiss-made Building Blocks, 49 Pieces
4cm Base Unit
This is a beautiful set of Swiss-made building blocks.
I acquired it from Mercari about 4-5 years ago.
It can be combined with other building blocks with a 4cm base unit for various ways to play.
It has large pieces, which were very useful.
The underside of the lid has an illustration showing how to store the blocks, making it easy and fun for children to tidy up.
The edge of the lid is slightly worn, but it does not affect its use.
The blocks themselves appear to be in relatively good condition with no major stains or chips, but please be aware that this is a used item and has been played with by children.
The current price for this set is around 35,200 yen.

Message from Albisbrunn Toy Workshop
Spielwaren aus Albisbrunn
We are proud to be involved in the production of toys, which embodies the eternal theme of learning through play, knowing the world through play.
We have always valued this.
When making toys, we focus on shape, color, high usability, and durability.
Good toys encourage children's natural development. That's why it's important to have toys that don't make excessive demands on children and don't bore them.
Through years of toy making with this philosophy, we have developed our own unique style of toys.
Simplicity, tactile shapes, and beautiful designs are the hallmarks of Albisbrunn toys.
Albisbrunn toys, recognizable by their fir tree logo, are brightly and beautifully colored.
As of 2001, 10 people are involved in the work, and 4-6 trainees are learning the skills.
Don't you think respecting the individuality of wood and acknowledging the differences in wood grain is a testament to wooden toys?
This allows us to use this precious and beautiful material in a more efficient way.
“Holz als ein Stueck Natur begreifen! Don't forget that wood is part of nature!”

(Current Head of Woodworking Department, Albisbrunn School)
