For sale is an 8X10 framed display with two 4X6 matted areas, one features a photo of the HMS Rodney, the other card features a small piece of wood from the HMS Rodney's deck similar to the one pictured. Rodney was one of the ships that went head to head with the legendary German battleship Bismarck and helped sink her. The wood was removed from her deck during the scrapping of the ship and repurposed as is tradition with many older British military ships. Once the wood was acquired, I cut it down keeping part for myself and making these. The display includes a letter of authenticity. This wood is rare to find. This is a great item for any navy, history, or WWII enthusiast! I have been collecting artifacts for over 20 years. Grab a small piece of history!
