Vintage Japanese porcelain bowl with double handles made by porcelain manufacturer Saji and Kariya (S&K).
Interior and handles of the bowl is hand painted with 2 birds / swallows perched on a weeping willow tree.
Hard to find.
- Approx. size: 7-1/8 (handle to handle); 5-7/8 diameter x 1-3/4 tall (rim of the bowl); 2-3/8 tall (top of handle)
- Pre-owned, used, with wear normal for its age.
- No chips, no breaks, no cracks.
- Some paint loss mainly on the gold highlights.
- Imperfections in the manufacturing process visible on the bottom foot of the bowl and on the interior surface (see photos).
