The master bowl is about 11 7/8” across and 2” high. The five individual salad bowls are about 6 1/2” across and 2 1/4” tall. The condiment divided bowl is about 7” long and 1 1/2” tall, Signed ‘souvenir of Hawaii Monkeypod’. Old/early and obviously hand carved. The design of The others have a label or part of a label or no label that says Waikiki Woods Monkey Pod Hawaii. these bowls creates a thin lip, small slivers of wood may flake away. Hand made on Maui 50-60’s possible by the prison system.
Constructed from high-quality monkey pod. Nice darker brown aged finish with pretty grain. Flat not warped. Hardwood plate hand-carved estimated 40s-50’s.
