This lovely serving tray is hand-painted with an intricate gold and pastel floral design. The mark on the underside is RC Nippon. RC is the abbreviation for Royal Crockery, and this mark was brought into use in 1911. The use of Nippon, rather than Japan, ended in 1921. There is a small amount of gold loss on the rim, and some wear/grime on the underside base. 12-3/4” x 6” x 2-1/2”. This is a really beautiful piece.
