Vintage Abraham Lincoln Children's Book with Original Dust Jacket Showing the Book Won the Caldecott Medal (in 1940), Written by Ingri & Edgar Parin d'Aulaire - Copyright 1939 and 1957.
This 1970's version of the book is completely redrawn and amplified by the D'Aulaires to take advantage of newer reproduction methods, which give the book it's inviting brightness.
Measures approx 12 inches tall x 9 1/4 inches wide x 3/8 inch deep.
The dust jacket is quite worn and frayed, but the book covers and interior are in very good condition.
