-Insert cartridge, power on console, (If game does not play right away, press the Reset button a few time OR If game screen appears but restarts constantly, press the Reset button 1-2 times) game should play correctly, if not...
-Use a Q-tip and 409 or rubbing alcohol if you don’t have anything else, clean the contacts of the cartridge
-If you still get a blinking light I use the wiggle trick . While the game is still pressed down and turned on and wiggle the cartridge from left to right forward and press the restart button. Some NES consoles are particular in regards to placement--they all have a sweet spot .
