【SOUVENIR JACKET / Suka Jacket】
This jacket was named after American soldiers who brought back souvenirs embroidered with motifs related to the countries they were stationed in after the war.
The biggest feature is its simple design with no embroidery.
It completely omits the embroidery of eagles, tigers, dragons, and other symbols that are synonymous with sukajan, and the color scheme is kept to black and white.
This lowers the unique hurdle that comes with styling a sukajan, making it more approachable for a wider range of people.
However, there are no compromises in the materials and details. The outer fabric is made of velveteen, which has a soft feel and a unique sheen that appears when light hits it. The lining is made of 100% rayon satin, which has a smooth feel and a silky luster. The zipper is made by IDEAL, a company with a history of American production.

The size is also carefully considered, recreating the ideal silhouette that is hard to find in vintage pieces.
While most sukajans are padded, we have intentionally omitted padding to enhance the comfort of the velveteen texture and feel.
The moderate length, ample bust, and gathered sleeves create a trendy look.

At first glance, it may seem like a too-subtle sukajan, but there is a playful touch hidden inside the left pocket: a woven name tag with a tiger design and a Mount Fuji and wave design reminiscent of ukiyo-e.

A sukajan without embroidery, something you wouldn't expect.
It's a piece that subverts the common image, for better or worse.
Its understated yet not too subtle atmosphere adds a nice accent to your outfit.
This is a confident piece that we want everyone, even those who have never worn a sukajan before, to try on.
