This stunning vest is made in the Fair Isle technique whereby intricate patterns are made using yarns of different colors - if you look on the inside (see pictures of labels), you can see the yarns not being used carried to their next location. The name Fair Isle comes from the Shetland Island of the same name where the technique originated in the 1800's.
Notice 2 quality features: 1) the pattern aligns around the piece, 2) the buttons that say Chaps are sewn on in an x pattern.
This beauty is made from a blend of 60% cotton/23% acrylic/17 polyester so you can machine wash in cold water.
Measurements: 20 1/2 pit-to-pit; 22 from base of back neck to hem.
