This beautiful shibori tie-dyed Japanese kimono jacket also known as a haori jacket is in a like new condition, although it is vintage and had been worn. There are no holes or tears. It is in a variegated plum color.
The exterior shibori or tie dye pattern is of bamboo trees and leaves. Bamboo are a spring pattern that represents prosperity and symbolic of purity and innocence. The tie-dyed exterior fabric is 100% silk. The liner is a man-made material, with a pale pink on white sensu or folding fan pattern. This pattern represents prosperity.
