Though I would use this Merchant again, as they were very responsive and addressed the issues we were having with the chair in a timely and efficient manner, the chair itself had some issues. The nuts inside the seat broke loose from the particle board framing inside the chair while installing the base making it impossible to loosen or tighten the seat. The screws would just spin and spin. Overall the chair appeared to be easy to assemble. Just structurally flawed. The merchant provided the refund promptly. Because I could not successfully complete the chair setup, I cannot answer whether it was comfortable or supportive.
