1880’s Antique French Mother of Pearl & Paste Heart Religious Ex-Voto Pendant. This is HUGE! Just over 5 1/2 inches long. This is made of brass that is gilded - Sacré Coeur/sacred heart is a Roman Catholic ex-voto from France. These are carried or worn as devotionals and to give thanks. This piece is quite large and is set with glass paste stones and made with genuine Mother of Pearl. About 5 1/2 inches long and 7/8 inches deep. In excellent condition for its age with no missing stones, the back opens and closes, the string of stones that make the “m” needs reattaching/gluing in one small spot at the top of the “m”.
