The National Marine Lamp Co. was founded in 1912 and Excellight became a subsidiary of them in the early 1920’s. The company was instrumental in WW1 shipbuilding. Steel body, beautiful main light, and latches all work to open the canister. Item still has its emblem. Rescued from a Minnesota basement. It’s about 11 inches tall, 5 inches in depth, and 3 inches wide. Great display or collection piece.
