Vintage Infant Feeding Spoon Chantilly Pattern (Sterling, 1950, Gorham , No Monograms), Baby Spoon.
This beautiful, delicate Baby Spoon is by Gorham Silver.
Gorham Silver was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1831 by Jabez Gorham, a master craftsman, in partnership with Henry L. Webster. The firm's chief product was spoons of coin silver. The company also made thimbles, combs, jewelry, and other small items. In 1842, the Congress enacted a tariff that effectively blocked the importation of silverware from outside the United States, which aided the American silver industry.
The approximate length of this baby spoon is 5 3/4 , and the bowl is about 1 wide, Sterling, with a Glossy Finish.
This is from the B.L. Personal Collection.
