Lauhala Woven Bead Necklace about 57” Long WOW
Couple points here, this is incredibly light. Each ’bead’ would be hand woven and this fine work takes time. They all are slightly different in size. Theres one that appears slightly flattered, another one is partially broken. Theses were probably from Maui in the 1950’s. Restring if you like- This took along, long time to weave. Not woven around a center core as they would do today, each bead is hollow.
We do not alter any items sold; they are listed the way they were found. We get the dust and dirt off, but all serious cleaning and repairs are the decision of the purchaser
