This listing is for a lovely sterling silver, rhodonite bead and cross pendant necklace. It is ornate and nicely crafted. The cross has writing on the back Spasi i sohrani which roughly translates to 'Save and protect . The bale and clasp both are marked 925. The metal is non-magnetic, but has not been acid tested.
The necklace itself (with the extender) measures about 18 in length, the drop with the cross is around 3 1/2 in length. Interestingly, the necklace is not quite symmetrical as one side is longer than the other. Perhaps the previous owner had shortened it? The cross pendant (without bale) measures 1 1/2 x 7/8 . width. The necklace is in good, but not pristine condition. There is some surface wear/tarnishing, the bale (by design) is not soldered.
