1973 Nixon - Ford republican political mug in plum. The mug is in incredibly good condition. There are no chips or cracks. Information about the mug gathered from an on-line glass library:
This mug was made for E. Ward Russell who was the President of ACGA, American Carnival Glass Association at the time. It was made from a Heisey mold borrowed from Imperial Glass Company. Originally, this was Dumbo the Elephant. The mug was produced in the plum color. Embossed on the bottom is NIXON - FORD E.W.R. 1973
The mug has a diameter of 3.25 and a height of 4.75 Please review all photos and ask any questions prior to purchase. This mug would be a great addition for collector of Presidential, Republican or or political memorabilia.
