Antique Andreas Geiger Prints Set of 2 Modes de Paris Journal des Tailleurs - Approximate translation is: Fashions of Paris Tailor's Journal. Both prints show gentlemen on the Boulevard des Txalieus. One is roughly translated Dinner Costumes or Attire, the other is City or Business Suit and Hunting Costume/Outfit.
The prints are dated 1847 and numbered 832 & 836. They each measure approximately 9 x 6.5 (in the frames).
Andreas Geiger was a well know Austrian Etcher and Mezzontinter (print maker) in the 1800s.
Very good pre-owned vintage condition. These prints are dated 1847. There is some discoloration and some foxing of paper.
