Squares made from that 1970s loom thing I forget what it was called.
It was all over TV at the time and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.
You made potholder squares on it then knit/crochet them into a blanket etc as shown here. No I don't have one of the loom things.
Handmade crocheted together.
24 by 4 feet Crocheted. All acrylic with some wool yarns in the center decorations of a couple squares. It is NOT symmetrical which drives some nuts but I think it's beautiful in afghans, like a signature.
I have cleaned it. Hand wash only. No pulls.
It is from a smoke free home. This afghan is over 70 hours By the woman who made it and she has passed so there is no other like it.
