2 vintage Military Payment Certificates: .25 and .05. “MPC Notes” were used by U.S. military personnel as a medium of exchange outside of the United States
These notes are from the Series 481 MPC notes that were issued from June of 1951 through May of 1954, meaning they circulated during the Korean War. Each note features intricate engravings and a disclaimer that reads, “For use only in United States military establishments by United States authorized personnel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.”
